EARLY DAYS: the 50s
The First Official Formula one race took place at Silverstone circuit in 1950, in the wake of previous post-war Drivers Championships. This decade was dominated by great drivers like Juan Manuel Fangio, Alberto Ascari, Stirling Moss, Jack Brabham, Phill Hill and Mike
Hawthorn.
